Sylvia Harris passed away on Sunday, July 24th, 2011. She was an esteemed colleague, an insightful mentor, and a true advocate for design.
Sylvia was recognized with a 2014 AIGA Medal for an unerring commitment to using design to improve the civic experience and for influencing a generation of designers as a teacher and mentor.
